Making your bed is a simple habit.
30 seconds can sound like a lot when you're still snoozing, but starting your day with a small accomplishment is worth the extra time.
U.S. Navy Adm. William H. McCraven says if you want to change the world, you should start by making your bed.
"If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day,'' he said in a commencement speech at the University of Texas. "It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task, and another, and another. And by the end of the day that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed."

Leaving your bed messy can stunt your overall productivity.
"When you leave your bedding in a messy heap, you will tend to muddle through the day until it’s time to fall back in to bed again," Karen Kingston, Feng Shui and Clutter expert told BuzzFeed Life.
