Pinterest is introducing price drop notifications for "buyable pins," a pin you can purchase without leaving the mobile app.
OH SNAP. The feature was first tested with a small number of users (so you may already have it) and rolls out to all iPhone, iPad, and Android users today.
If you save a buyable pin to a secret or public board, you'll get an email when the product goes on sale.
Why bother buying anything at the original price?
You can tell if a pin is buyable if it has a blue price below the image.
You'll be able to check out with a credit card without leaving Pinterest. Again, you'll only see this type of pin on the Pinterest mobile app, not the desktop version.
